I’m Amy, a senior at Juniata College majoring in History with a minor in Anthropology (although we like to be different at Juniata, and don’t call them “majors” and “minors”—but let’s not get into that). I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and have traveled to tons of places in the US, but it’s about time I got out of this country and saw more of the world.

In July 2010, I took my first trip abroad, for an intensive three-week history course at Campion College in Australia. In the spring semester, January 22 through June 6 of 2011, I’ll be studying in The Gambia.

Students who travel abroad are supposed to keep blogs nowadays, right?
